RoVic has developed a Green Cleaning System based on the LEED EB and Green Seal standards. Our Cleaning and Maintenance programs are based on providing a sustainable green cleaning process. At the foundation of our Green Cleaning program is a training program designed to improve the cleanliness of the facility, improve custodial staff morale and develop a systematic redundant training process for all custodians and supervisors.
Jodi Rell, the Governor of Connecticut and the State Legislature introduced and passed Executive Order 14. It mandates that all state agencies develop and implement a Green Cleaning program. It requires that agencies utilize EPP processes and products in developing its Green Cleaning program. EPP stands for Environmentally Preferable product(s). Rovic has a Green Cleaning Audit that will assist State agencies and private operations with identifying Green Cleaning opportunities, compliance issues and areas where the facility has already begun the process of meeting the various state and community based cleaning expectations.
A major component of any Quality Assurance program should include the use of Hillyard's Vektr QA software. This program allows you to use measureable standards to document the results of your program. Vektr software will not only help you point out any tasks which need attention, but allows you to catch your cleaners doing something right. You can review progress with your crew and explain (with photos) exactly what tasks were completed properly and what need further attention.
This eliminates individual perceptions about what is clean and what is not. Vektr software can also be used to create online surveys, generate work orders, or report problems.
