The Fall Issue of The Region 6 News stated that "Environmental stewardship is alive and growing as the District prepares to implement a new comprehensive cleaning program in each of our schools using a new line of environmentally preferred products that contribute to a cleaner environment, improved indoor air quality & worker safety while providing a healthier environment for our students and staff. Region 6 and RoVic, based in Manchester, CT have joined forces to initiate a Green Cleaning System based on Green Seal standards."
Region 6 incorporates the towns of Goshen, Morris and Warren.

The Voices Newsletter produced by The Village for Families and Children features the following under Facility News. "The Village is now GREEN. All janitor closets are now stocked with green friendly chemical and paper goods from RoVic."

A recent East Granby Town Newsletter notes that the Town "has made a commitment to our residents by purposefully creating a maintenance plan that incorporates environmentally preferable choices in the cleaning and maintenance of town buildings, including schools."

RoVic is currently listing "demo" equipment and other closeouts on its website. "Demo" equipment are machines RoVic's equipment specialist has used in front of customers to demonstrate the features and benefits of a particular piece of machinery. Purchasing one of these "demo" pieces, not only provides you with significant savings, but insures that you are getting a machine that has been well cared for and maintained. From time to time "pre-owned" equipment, which will be designated as such, will also be listed. Closeouts might include anything from floor pads to floor chemicals, plastic liners to plastic receptacles.

RoVic Picks from ISSA Show

After returning home from this year's ISSA Show in Las Vegas Rovic associates Tom Murphy, Sales Manager, and Kim Waters, Purchasing Manager, shared their selections for best new products. On the list was US Products Advantage 1200 portable hard surface extractor featuring a three stage vacuum and thirteen gallon capacity. Two new products from Rubbermaid also made their list - the 9T76 compact folding housekeeping cart and the motorized tilt truck series, all ergonomically designed for improved efficiency and safety. Another innovative selection was the REX dining area trash compactor which eliminates unsightly waste overflows during peak times and promotes improved sanitation with its "no touch" door opening sensor.
Tom and Kim also gave high marks to the Wet Vac Recovery System (it only weighs eight pounds) designed to enhance the versatility of the popular Hillyard C3 Restroom Cleaning Machine.
