Cleaning has Huge Impact on Health of Indoor Environment
Roger Parrott, president of RoVic Inc., recently attended a four day CIRI (Cleaning Industry Research Institute) conference in Washington, D.C. Dr. Stephanie Dancer, a microbiologist from Scotland, UK presented "Floor Wars - Better Methods to Improve Hospital Hygiene" as the keynote address. CIRI is the only independent, impartial institute involved in cleaning and building maintenance research to help improve indoor environmental quality (IEQ) for all types of buildings and facilities. By sponsoring unbiased technical research, CIRI promotes the best interests of the commercial and professional cleaning industries, as well as improves the quality of living for the general public.
Information collected and disseminated through CIRI-sponsored research will impact legislative discussions and decision-making, provide a scientific basis for innovative cleaning products and methods, and measure the effect of cleaning programs on IEQ.
RoVic has been a corporate member of CIRI since it inception in 2006. For more information on CIRI go to www.ciri-research.org. |
