Workloading Services Workloading is the application of the measurement of CSF; cleanable square feet per custodian or FTE (full time equivalent), determined by the tasks and their frequency required to maintain a facility or “space” at a desired level of appearance. RoVic has developed a process for workloading facilities that allows Facilities Management to understand asset allocation, budget constraints and staffing requirements to optimize the cleaning operation. We assist with balancing workloads so each worker has areas of responsibility that while not necessarily being the same CSF, it is balanced so their daily responsibility is as equal to their peers. RoVic utilizes multiple workloading software programs, each of which is considered as industry benchmarks for tasking, time studies and nomenclature. For instance, we utilize APPA standards for all College and University cleaning programs. We have found that the ISSA Cleaning Standards are accepted in most facilities as being accurate and fairly designed for health care, k-12 public and private schools as well as most commercial facilities. RoVic has specific software for health care and high tech clean room operations. RoVic assists management in developing a balanced workload for their operation that is designed to fit within their operating budgets and provide a clean, safe and healthy environment for their internal customers. As part of our workload process we perform a number of processes that enhance the operation; we perform Green Audits, Customer Satisfaction Surveys, Training Programs designed to provide redundant training and education for the cleaning staff and supervisors. RoVic also develops with the Facilities Management team a CQI program to make sure that the processes that have been developed and implemented are providing clean, safe, healthy facilities.
